Help us raise even more in 2008 for Compton Hospice

Thanks to all who turned up to make a card,
we hope you enjoyed the days as much as we did.
Mountain Ash Crafts have teamed together with Compton Hospice to raise £2,000 with their CREATE A CARD FOR COMPTON campaign. All you have to do is make your own hand made greetings cards and just donate them to Mathew at Mountain Ash Crafts who will give you 10 loyalty card points for each card donated. He will then pass them on to Compton Hospice who will sell them to their supporters. If you need help, Mountain Ash can supply all the inspiration and materials you need.
Karen Bowyer, Corporate Fundraiser at Compton Hospice says: "This is such a simple idea and yet it could generate massive funds. So please help out by donating your cards back, it really will make a difference."
Please donate your cards generously and help this campaign reach its £2,000 target.
Compton's Ambassador Ruth Badger, of The Apprentice and The Big Idea fame, has made this comment:
"Mathew, I have heard about your quest to raise £2,000 for Compton Hospice through your Create a Card for Compton campaign. I would Like to wish you every success in this venture." Ruth Badger

I would like to express my thanks to all of you who have donated cards for our appeal. I was amazed that, at only three months into the campaign, we have already collected over 2000 cards.
Please give your cards generously; they really will make a difference.
This is such a simple fundraising idea; the cards are being well received by the companies selling them on to colleagues. I have had such a positive response and comments have been made on the high quality of the cards.
The campaign has reached the attention of national publications (including the Craft Creations Magazine) as well as our own Express & Star. It is a great way to promote the fun in making your own cards as well as highlighting all the good work we do at the Hospice.
We have a waiting list of companies wanting to receive their box so, if you have any cards waiting to come to us, they will be greatly appreciated.
